Our second and final stop on the night of January 31st was the the Marysville Moose Lodge #1651 just outside of downtown Marysville Ohio. The Marysville Lodge made a strong come back at the end of our visit. At first we felt out of place and not welcomed. However, by the end of the evening, we started to feel much more comfortable. The Marysville Lodge scored very high points in the activities section, cheap pool (only a quarter a game) and shuffleboard providing a lot of fun for us. The cost of drinks were very cheap, the best we've found thus far. While we had already ate dinner at the Delaware Lodge, it appeared that the Marysville Lodge had full kitchen and menu available on most nights, this scored very high for us (we'll be back for food some night!).
Overall, the trip to Marysville was an average experience, but one that we would want to do again.
Hope to see everyone in Marysville again.
Lee - If you want a true 5 out of 5 Antler experience you need to experience Marysville with Marysville born and bred citizen...disapointed you didn't call for company!! LMAO...
ReplyDeleteWell, we'll have to go back soon. I tried to text Ed but it was 9pm. Took us forever to get across 36 from Delaware!
ReplyDeleteEd and I have been pondering the idea of you taking the "Moose Hunter" experience to the Travel Channel. He has volunteered to videotape for you. We were thinking you could call ahead to "make an appointment" so to speak and let them know of the upcoming Moose Hunter visit; maybe they could provide a member "spokesperson" from that location to spend some time with you and fill you in on what makes that Moose "special" and perhaps share a hillarious story with you...has to be at least one story that is repeatedly retold at each Moose. Could be interesting. Anyway just a thought. See ya next weekend!
